WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH ME…
The big news with me is that my daughter Leela has just
returned from a two year stint as a high school teacher
in Hiroshima, Japan! Not only that, but she has decided
to settle down for at least a year or two in Montreal,
where I live! She has already been accepted into a
post-grad certificate program at McGill University and has
a part-time job as program coordinator with “Best Buddies”.

Leela is in Ottawa right now visiting her mom and her
high school friends but she will be living with me in
Montreal for the last two weeks of August before she
moves into her new apartment with one of her girlfriends.

Otherwise, I have been having a great time this summer
with friends, attending various events at the Jazz Festival
and the Just For Laughs Comedy Fest.

I have tickets for one of the semi-finals at the upcoming
Roger’s Cup Tennis Tournament but of course I won’t know
who will be playing in that match until two days before
when the quarter-finals are decided. I’m hoping it will
be at least one of Federer, Nadal, Murray or Roddick.

THIS MONTH’S POST…
This month’s blog post is a bit of a personal rant about
what I believe to be the importance of “personalizing”
letters for some situations in life. Sorry folks,
but in some cases an e-mail or text message just
won’t cut it!
