Far Eastern University (FEU) leaned on its well-placed serves in posting a 25-14, 25-19, 24-26, 25-18 win over College of St. Benilde as action continued Friday in the quarterfinal phase of the Shakey’s V-League Season 6 second conference at The Arena in San Juan City.

“We focused more on the service. Ang kailangan lang ayusin namin ay kung paano alagaan ang lamang namin (All we need to work on is how to protect our lead),” said FEU coach Nestor Pamilar after the victory as the Lady Tamaraws ended their two-game slide.

FEU posted 14 service winners, five of which came from Cherry Vivas while guest player Rachel Anne Daquis made four all in the first set.
