From a total of 135 online votes at the Tamaraw Bayan community poll (below) from site visitors (not necessarily registered users) initiated last July 10, 2010, 58% or 78 were fairly satisfied with the opening ceremonies of the 73rd UAAP games, 23% or 31 found it outstanding or superb, while 19% or 26 were disappointed with the said event. The 73rd UAAP games is currently hosted by De La Salle University (DLSU).

Comparing to the opening ceremonies of the previous season hosted by Far Eastern University, the online poll results stated that more were disappointed with the 72nd UAAP opening ceremonies, with 41%, 30% found it superb, while 29% found it acceptable.
