Honoring the 8 participating universities in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the site header of the TAMBayan (Tamaraw Bayan) will display each university every 7 days, 8 weeks prior to the league’s opening. The participating universities are as follows:

- De La Salle University
- Ateneo De Manila University
- Adamson University
- University of the East
- University of the Philippines
- University of Santo Tomas
- National University
- Far Eastern University (host university for the 72nd UAAP games)

The first 4 universities were the latest to be admitted in the league, while the next 4 are the founding members of the UAAP.
