After you’ve successfully registered at the portal portion of the Tamaraw Bayan, you will see at the upper right portion of the portal that you have no user photo yet, and a set of links appear at its left, such as:

Site admin – this is where you access the portal dashboard where you can edit your profile, add new articles to be submitted for review before publishing, etc.
My profile – your portal profile, this is where you can edit your account information, such as first and last name, biographical information (self description, which appears every after your submitted and published article/s), your avatar and photo.
Create article – this is where you create your article/s, and submit it for review, approval, and publication by the site managers.
Log out – this is how you get out of this place safely.

YOUR PROFILE
Probably one of the most significant parts of your account profile are your photo, avatar, and bio, since these are the most seen information about you when someone else reads your comments and/or your articles.

Biographical info – under the About Yourself part of your account, this is where your biographical info, or as we call it these days, “self description” is found. Type anything here, as long as it’s about yourself, however, we don’t permit descriptions that are too long, that it distorts the appearance of the site whenever your article is loaded and read. By the way, this only appears on your published articles, we suggest that you describe yourself briefly not as to bore your reader/s with you describing yourself alone.

Avatar – your Avatar is different from your Photo, which will be discussed later. Your avatar is the image that appears immediately after logging into your account, also alongside your comments, and must be 60 x 60 pixels in terms of height and width.

Photo – your Photo is the image that appears after your submitted articles, thus beside your self description or biographical info, this is what you can consider as “author photo” and, same as the Avatar, should be 60 x 60 in pixels (height and width).

Please be informed that your profile at the portal portion of the Tamaraw Bayan is entirely different from the profile in the community portion, this is why registration at the portal is different from the community (or forum), however same user name and password is encouraged as to prevent users from remembering too many user names and passwords in these two portions of the site.
