FEU inks partnership with US college
July 22nd, 2010 by aldrinvFar Eastern University continues its strategy to create major linkages as it recently signed an Exchange Cooperation in the field of Education agreement with Bloomfield College, New Jersey, USA. Under the pact, the two institutions will have academic/joint programs in Nursing, Education, Business and Information Technology.
The partnership also includes a one semester faculty and student exchange program. Representing Bloomfield College in the signing was Dr. Peter K Jeong, Vice President for Technology and Professional Studies.
“The partnership will open new doors for FEU students and expose them this early to a broader world and modern society,” said FEU President Lydia B. Echauz
According to Bloomfield College’s official website, the institution is an independent, four-year, coeducational college, affiliated with Presbyterian Church (USA), founded in 1868. The College’s mission is to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society. It is located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, a suburban residential community just 15 miles from New York City.
