Roses everywhere
As lovers go by pair
They say love is in the air
But I don’t really care
For as long as I evoke
Those days, I abandoned
I couldn’t even recall
The last time I hit and fall
Is it always a dejection
When 14th falls upon
Without a reason?
When all hearts
Are full of passion
Amidst my life
Free of any emotions
Here on this long, winding road
I found, a stranded soul
Where dreams forlorn
To beseech my long, lost love
But where did Cupid’s arrow go?
Tell me this day’s not over
Still drenching from this storm
While searching for an evidence
Of a heart deserted by
A neglectful love
But should desperation
Be the last call
For a lonely heart once torn?
Enough of these lonely walks
I implore
For love will come along
Knocking at my door
Once more
Such is the destiny of mankind
Written along the hidden lines
But mine is somewhere lost in time
Still cooling these heels ready to fly
For when love strikes mine
I’ll let the fever come and take me
To paradise.

) sprinkled with dedication to your work. The inspiration is a big help talaga. And tamang timpla ng emosyon. I believe kasi, writing is also a matter of right timing. :)
*Aaaw… I’ve been single every 14th of February for the past 24 years of my life. So medyo, pa-Grinch effect ako during this time. Lolz.

What a nice work ate, i know how it feels to be lonely at jealous (dahil ang daming flowers sa morayta) every 14th of february; ako din eh, 18 years na.. pitong taon nalang silver celebration na!! but do not fret all the single people, isipin nalang natin, “undas” , respeto lang sa patay kaya maraming bulaklak. kasi eh, pwede namang hanggang 13 lang february.
